Case Study:              Pearl CMG
Project:                    One of 3 PSL suppliers for all Change and Transformation recruitment
Engagement Date:   Started working with Resolution Life/Pearl CMG in May 2007

The Client:  Resolution Life (FTSE 100) was bought by Pearl Assurance in November 2008 for £5b.  Resolution were a specialist closed book life company that historically bought a number of closed book life companies and grew through acquisition and became a listed FTSE 100 company in under 3 years of trading.  Since Pearl bought Resolution they have re-structured the company and are continuing to look at new market opportunities. 

Process: This relationship is unique in the fact that Pearl encourages Investigo and all their suppliers to build relationships with key line managers and the senior exec team as well as having a recruitment process that needs to be followed for each new position that comes up.  We work very closely with the HR/Resource management team who sends us every new requirement as and when it’s approved.  In turn we will provide them with no more than 3 suitable CV’s within 24 hours.  Typical jobs include the following, Programme Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and PMO staff.  Through building critical relationships with the senior management team and key stakeholders we have developed a very good understanding of the business and therefore have the ability to supply suitable resource quickly and efficiently

Conclusion: Since May 2007 we have successfully placed 86 business change contractors at Resolution/Pearl CMG and quickly became their number 1 supplier for all change/transformation resource. We still work very closely with the senior exec team and in the last 10 months have recently provided critical resource to allow Pearl to successfully buy the Resolution business.
