The Client: The Prudential Leadership Hiring Initiative is the new recruitment model designed to support their global executive hires.  Prudential believes that talent spotting and succession planning are key elements in the strategic plan to drive the business forward through 2009 and beyond. 

The Process: To help ensure Prudential’s position as one of the market leading Insurance institutions they have instructed Investigo, as one of two agencies, to source the top 5% of the market place across finance and bring this talent to the attention of the heads of search.  These candidates have an exploratory telephone conversation with the search department before going on to attend a series of interviews and assessments with behavioural psychologists and a selection of Executives from the business.  The principal aim of the initiative is to benchmark existing talent within the business against the external marketplace and acquire fresh talent where staffing improvements can be made to different areas of Prudential. 

Conclusion: Thus far Investigo have successfully placed the:

  • Group head of FP&A
  • Head of Business Partnering (Prudential UK)
  • Group deputy Head of IFRS and Technical Accounting
  • 75% of FP&A Division at analyst level
