The Client: The Sony Pictures Head Office team in LA were keen to establish a Divisional International CFO, to be based in London, to give them greater visibility of the international business and support to operational teams.
Process: Following a briefing from Brian and the HR team, we used our extensive network of contacts to approach relevant individuals that were both actively seeking new opportunities, as well as appropriate individuals that were willing to consider a direct approach. We coupled this with a Linked In search and advertising on Exec Appointments and GAAPWeb.
Conclusion: We subsequently interviewed and shortlisted 5 candidates for interview. Through the 4 stage process, including a video conference with the Global CFO in LA, this was whittled down to one candidate who was offered and accepted. The entire process was undertaken from briefing to offer and acceptance in 4 weeks.
