On Thursday 16th April, more than 170 of Investigo’s clients enjoyed a fantastically entertaining quiz evening organized in aid of Halcyon, the charity which raises awareness of autism and related conditions through training and education. Held at The Last, a quirky bar located in Chancery Lane, the event was a huge success, with just over £14,200 raised for the charity via raffle tickets sales and an auction.
After a quick welcome by a member of the Halcyon team, the well-known actors Jonny Partridge and Natalie Casey joined us for the quiz. They managed to entertain us throughout the entire evening with their bubbly personalities, engaging presentation and funny, uncensored jokes. We must say that the quiz was not only amusing but also interesting and extremely competitive. All the teams did an excellent job at answering the more or less difficult questions but, the team members of Boom Chicka Boom Boom came out victorious by scoring a total of 43 points. Congratulations guys!
The event also included a raffle and an auction, with prizes including bespoke jewelry, First Class long haul flights, holidays to Ibiza and France, two tickets to soccer AM, two nights stay in Lambs Passage, four tickets to Epsom Derby, fine wines, iPads, dinner for two at The Shard, PS4, lots of expensive champagnes as well as surprise gift bags.
Both the auction and raffle were very well supported and, all in all, the evening was a great success with a lot of laughs as well as valuable funds being raised for our nominated charity. Congratulations to all the teams who took part and thank you so much to everyone who helped raise this fantastic total for a really amazing cause. We couldn’t have raised such a phenomenal amount without your support!
