Accountant - 3 days per week, home working

Accountant required for a market leading multi-site business on a 3 days per week basis with remote working on offer

Whilst reporting to the Financial Controller you will broadly focus on Financial Accounting including Statutory reporting and supporting Corporate Tax

This is seen as a fairly flexible role and requires an individual with a good work ethic and the desire to learn with a flexible approach

The main accountabilities are around producing the half year and annual accounts, IFRS 16 Compliance, assisting with Auditor queries relating to Tax and Compliance and producing the subsidiary accounts.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to a 3 days per week arrangement or 21 hours per week with some flexibility around the working pattern

You could be an experience accountant with a number of years post qualified experience or a recently qualified accountant with the desire to learn. It is not essential to have exposure to the IFRS element within the role as long as you are willing to learn and are happy to pick up the book and ask the auditors when required.

Ideally you will have worked within a larger and complex organisation but candidates either straight from practice or with a year or two industry experience are well suited

You will be home working so location is not important as long as you can get the office once a Month or so.
