Accounts Payable Manager

Investigo have partnered with a leading multinational business based in Hemel Hempstead- who are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts payable department. Salary is paying between £38,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
We are seeking an individual who has a strong mix of coaching, managing & mentoring alongside process improvement. You will initially be tasked in reviewing the current AP processes and working closely with the Financial Controller in improving processes & procedures.
Key Duties

• Supervise, train and develop a team of 6
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all invoices for the business
• Meet deadlines for reporting Payable KPI's to all levels of management
• Monitor workflows to ensure that productivity
• Provide the Purchase Order Liability report for month end analysis within agreed SLA
• Provide, on a weekly basis, feedback to management on the volume and value of write-offs
• Provide monthly analysis of the number and value of late payments per month
• Ensure the analysis of the debit balance is provided to senior management
• Ensure all processes are documented and recommendations are made for any improvements or modifications that are required
• Assist Financial Controller with half yearly and yearly Appraisals
• Ensure any ad hoc reporting is completed within agreed time line
