Job description

Investigo London is once again pleased to be partnering exclusively with a leading UK property firm on their mission to expand their team through their impressive growth for 2020.

This brand new vacancy for a Transactions Manager will see an experience AP Leader join an existing team of 5, working directly with senior finance management for the successful division with responsibility for:

  • Ensuring the workflow of all documentation through the purchase ledger / subcontractor ledger is carried out in line with company procedures.
  • To provide a secondary point of contact with all creditors who may have queries regarding outstanding invoices, or staff/ non staff expenses.
  • Ensure correct coding of invoices.
  • Liaising with suppliers and staff.
  • Review of BACS payment runs & bank transfers.
  • Ensure correct treatment of Vat & CIS tax.
  • Take responsibility of cyclical supplier statement reconciliations and/or assisting with any discrepancies.
  • Review of Supplier Audit report and standing data amendments.
  • Ensure the department is covered for holidays or sickness of staff.
  • Responsible for Aged Creditor Report & key site metrics/KPIs.
  • Investigate older balances/update queries.
  • Ownership of Purchase Order approval matrix & IT role changes
  • Responsible for training all relevant staff on purchase order process & subcontractor payment process.
  • Ownership of Accounts Payable processes & forms/templates to be consistent across the entire team & kept up to date.
  • Responsible for prompt resolution of any legal letters/court summons received from suppliers.

In order to be considered for this high performing team, applicants must demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2 years of AP/transactions management.
  • Experience within property or construction would be extremely advantageous.
  • Intermediate excel skills (confident with vlookups, pivot tables and formulas)
  • Working knowledge of CIS and VAT.
