Job description

A large global bank is investing in and growing their financial crime technology and as such have several roles within the function.

As the technology transaction monitoring AVP you will:

  • Contribute to the testing and monitoring of the activities of the firms' clients and transactions to help minimise the risk that the group is used for financial crime
  • Support the delivery of system enhancements and upgrade projects
  • Support tuning of existing systems and reduction of false positives in EMEA Financial Crime.
  • Taking a lead role in upgrading key systems, including design and implementation of User Acceptance Testing
  • Supporting regional and local teams with compliance with governance requirements as stated in the Global Technology Standard.
  • Supporting on-going and new Transaction Monitoring-related projects, driving and informing business requirements from a Financial Crime Technology perspective.
  • Being a key contact for escalations from multiple 1st and 2nd Line teams across EMEA on all TM-related queries and issues.

This is an outstanding role due to the team, culture and growth within the business. This role is unfortunately not open to those without prior experience in AML technology tuning.

We are seeking:

  • Previous experience using, testing and/or tuning transaction monitoring systems such as SironAML, Actimize, BAE NetReveal etc.
  • Experience with project management and delivery
  • Broad understanding of financial crime systems and in banking, and a general understanding of the concepts of risk management and control
  • Strong understanding of testing, tuning,validation and assurance of Transaction Monitoring systems
