Assistant Finance Manager / Management Accountant

Investigo is delighted to be partnering with one of the most successful real estate firms in the UK on their search for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team as Assistant Finance Manager.

This role will be reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager and will have a large focus on senior stakeholder management and business partnering, so the role requires confidence and collaboration.

The day to day duties will also involve:

• Assist with covenant strength reporting for counterparties to Asset transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting to senior management.
• Production of the weekly 26 week cash flow forecast for business.
• Preparation of Capex spend forecasts.
• Preparation of cash based reporting for the business in order to track areas of spend.
• Production of Balance Sheet reconciliations for appropriate areas of responsibility and facilitating the monthly Group balance sheet boardroom review.
• Assisting in Budget work, including variance analysis and budget GL uploads.
• Liaising with the Financial Reporting team to assist in preparation of statutory accounts and assist with auditors and the tax department when required.
• Assisting in ad-hoc tasks as requested

Experience required:

• Part qualified / studying towards an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience with senior stakeholder management
• Looking to progress and develop skill sets
• Be proactive in your approach
• Educated to degree level with a top university
