Associate Scientific Director (Med Comms) - Remote

Rapidly-growing independent Medical Communications Agency seeks a strong Senior Medical Writer / Associate Scientific (Medical) Director to help them deliver into new business.

This role will suit am experienced Medical Writer or Associate Scientific Director looking for a new set of challenges in a broad, strategic role, where lots of support will be provided, and lots of autonomy offered.

You will develop, oversee and create compelling clinical content for pharmaceutical and healthcare communications; materials which may be delivered through a variety of print, digital and electronic media outlets to include newsletters, articles, slide presentations, eLearning platforms and web apps.

This is a hands-on role but there will be lots of internal collaboration - liaising daily with client services, supporting assigned accounts by providing your clinical expertise and leadership.

To really thrive in this role you will be need to be highly scientific as well as savvy and strategic, with the ability to quickly process information in order to accurately translate and deliver to the target audience.

You will be invovled in leading clinical aspects during strategic planning and project meetings with internal and client teams, gathering information and ultimately connecting science with strategy!

The role offers a healthy split between planning, developing, writing and editing materials , as well as some oversight and management - ensuring consistency and cohesion of scope, clinical content and messaging throughout.

You should have:

• Advanced degree in a medical or scientific field
• At least 3 years of hands-on content development and writing experience
• Experience working as a Senior Medical Writer in a medical communications / healthcare ad agency
