SKILLS

§ Data Engineering

§ Big Data Stack: Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Spark, Kafka, NiFi, Airflow etc.

§ AWS: S3, EMR, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis, Athena etc.

§ Previous experience working as a Big Data Engineer on a Greenfield project

§ Experience with Scala, Java or Python

§ DevOps (GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible etc.) experience is a BONUS

TASKS

§ To assist with the implementation of a new AWS Big Data platform.

§ End-to-end ownership of the Data Engineering function for this greenfield project.

§ To help facilitate the Migration from the existing Azure cloud to the new AWS platform.
