Job description

The role of the Marketing Finance team at our FTSE 15 client is to provide a high level of financial support & control for the UK marketing teams. Our client is recognised for the strength of its financial management, brand which also offers numerous career opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent finance within brand teams, focused on driving growth & profitability
  • Build quarterly product/customer forecasting & annual plans for the different brands with annual revenues of more than £310m Assess and improve the profitability of various category product launches
  • Control marketing budgets and spend for certain categories
  • Perform key tasks within the commercial finance team, to ensure that reporting is both timely & accurate and provide management with relevant financial information
  • Work within the team to develop new tools & systems to improve the return on marketing and trade investment and identify hidden profit opportunities
  • Complete ad-hoc financial analysis on UK management projects to ensure robust financials behind decision making process
  • You will manage 2 direct reports to ensure the various Heads receive the right level of financial input, support and challenge

  • You must be ACA or CIMA with strong academic background
  • Ambitious and keen to take on responsibility in an organisation that provides a high level of autonomy and individual responsibility
  • Strong commercial awareness Good analytical / thinking / problem solving skills
  • Team orientation and well developed communication skills.
  • Previous management experience an advantage but not essential
  • A confident self starter who uses their initiative & can work independently with little supervision Excel skills
