Chief Data Officer - DV cleared - Inside IR35

A major central government organisation are seeking a Chief Data Officer to join them until the end of 2020.

The role falls inside IR35 and candidates must hold DV clearance in order to be considered. The role will be split between London & the Bristol area.

The role requires a charismatic and collaborative leader, effective at partnering with key stakeholders across defence, government and industry to deliver innovative business and military capability.

General experience sought:

• Suitable and varied experience in a combination of Information, Data, Technology, Strategy and Implementation roles, ideally in both private and public sector IT teams.
• Excellent logic, verbal and written communication skills: an ability to identify and focus on the issues that matter, to separate the urgent from the important, and to provide clear, cogent and coherent advice on complex issues.
• Prior experience of influencing corporate Board-level stakeholders (if not already managing at corporate level). As Chief Data Officer, the post-holder will brief members of the CIO Board and other senior defence boards on Information and Data Strategy and Implementation.
• Experience in developing / informing / influencing / enabling Information and Data Strategy and Implementation frameworks for large organisations.

Technical experience sought:

• IT Governance, Information Systems Co-ordination, Enterprise and Business Architecture Development, Solution Architecture, System Design, Business Analysis, Information Management
• Data Engineering, Business Analysis, Product Delivery & Management, Data Architecture

Relevant Qualifications:

APMP, MSP, GKIM 1-3, COBIT v5, TOGAF Practitioner, Agile Scrum Master & Product Owner
