Commercial Accountant

Investigo are recruiting to a 12-month Commercial Accountant position with a progressive property business, based in central London. They are looking for a newly qualified professional interim and the pro rata annual salary stretches from £55,000 - £60,000.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate the budget planning process and deliver a quality Regional Budget
• Preparation of regular management information on the Group's administration costs including monthly and quarterly reporting packs
• Preparation of quarterly forecasts, annual budget and 10-year strategic plan
• Providing analysis of administration costs and meeting with departmental heads to review results
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly Group's Management Accounts
• Preparation of succinct, insightful, commercially focused commentary
• Preparation of VAT returns
• To assist with queries from internal and external auditors, investor relations or other stakeholders
• To undertake additional duties as required

Role requirements

• Newly Qualified accountant ACA/CIMA or equivalent
• Strong Technical Accounting Skills
• Proven Management Accounting and Analysis Skills
• Energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working and will have a positive approach to challenges, thinking creatively to solve problems
• Excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining the ability to see the big picture
• Ability to work in a highly results oriented and performance driven environment with a focus on excellence
• Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with senior members of the Group
