Commercial Analyst - £35,000 - £40,000 - Huntingdon - Permanent Role

We are representing a successful business based in Huntingdon in their search for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a high calibre finance department and work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager. The role will be focused on driving business performance through commercial campaigns. This will including utilising advanced Excel skills to create financial models and produce accurate forecasts.

The role: * Drive company performance through the supply of in-depth insight to support business cases for commercial campaigns * Create and maintain accurate finance models and assist with the forecasting process * Provide relevant insights on customer behaviour assessing the financial impact * Identification of customer trends and performance, providing meaningful insight and linking to operational data * Continually develop finance models and improve automated reporting and processes to drive efficiencies * Work closely with the Data Science team to help implement new processes and systems to enhance planning and analysis * Liaise with the wider finance team to work on ad-hoc projects when required

The successful individual: * CIMA/ACCA/ACA studiers (finalists desirable) * Experience of creating models and reports * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel * High standards of accuracy, precision and data integrity * Strong communication skills and the ability to explain in-depth and complex analysis to stakeholders within and outside of finance
