Commercial Analyst

Northamptonshire company is looking to appoint a Commercial Analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. This is due to a spike in workload and some other positive internal changes so for the right candidate it may become a more permanent role.

Key duties:

• Be responsible for the accounting of revenue on the P&L and stock side, fixed assets, lease related balance sheet controls accounts.
• Group reporting of monthly results (2 entities)
• month end accounting for stock
• Fixed assets accounting
• Compiling the sales forecast and rolling forward / updating budgeting and forecast models
• Managing the customer pricing matrix for key accounts
• Production of monthly management accounts

This role will suit someone who is either qualified by experience or studying at ideally an intermediate stage or more. You will need group accounting and stock accounting experience as well as at least an intermediate level of excel as you will be using complex models to manage vast volumes of data to produce relevant financial reports.

The role is to commence asap and can be either a mix of office / home working or 100% home working so location is not a key factor for the client compared to skills / relevant experience in similar roles.
