Commercial Finance Analyst

This is a truly fantastic opportunity based in Northamptonshire. My client, a highly profitable and growing business who are looking to recruit an Commercial Finance Analyst.

The Commercial Finance Analyst is very much a business facing finance role and will involve being in regular contact with Senior Management, Functional Heads and Directors for long term decision making, budgeting and acting as the main finance point of contact. You will support your non finance budget holders by advising and training them on any areas related to the budget process and 5 year plan. Other areas of responsibility will include; consolidation of management accounts, including analysing P&L for circa 120 sites, collate information from each department to pull together a Acquisitions papers for the Board, KPI reporting and budget holder reports; oversee the quarterly forecast process; produce the annual budget, including reviewing the business plans and future growth areas; and to work on many exciting projects and have the chance to make a name for yourself to the senior leadership team.

The successful candidate will be an analytical, intelligent, accountant with a strong commercial thought process and able to confidently articulate and understand the wider business. You will have the ability to build rapport in a warm and engaging, approachable but challenging manner.
