Job description

Investigo are recruiting for a 12-month Commercial Finance Business Partner role for a Real Estate company based in central London, who are going through an exciting growth period.

The pro rata annual salary dictates £60,000-£65,000.

Responsibilities

  • Be the key finance interface with the central senior internal stakeholders who are involved in the investment case process from formulation, information gathering to delivery of the investment case itself
  • Support decision making process, able to take fragments of data, order them, assess their value and present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way
  • Comfortable with risk and ability to work with ambiguity and who will use their financial acumen to help drive and improve decision-making process
  • Ability to draw on 'big' and 'small' data, selecting the appropriate tools to manipulate, analyse and interpret it a meaningful way
  • Develop and prepare financial models for commercial business cases which include detailed financial and sensitivities analysis
  • Responsible for the benefits tracking process, analysing savings performance against targets
  • Develop scenario models to deliver contingency planning in case of emergency or adverse conditions, including deviation planning
  • Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.

Role requirements

  • Qualified accountant with 5 years PQE gained in a similar financial role in industry
  • Strong leadership capability in order to influence financial insight to key business stakeholders
  • The ability to analyse and present on complex matters, having implemented best practice across your career and worked in large complex businesses
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build healthy working relationship with business stakeholders and interact effectively with all levels of staff
  • Highly effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously, prioritising workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong data analytical skills, proven experience of financial modelling
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working and will have a positive approach to challenges, thinking creatively to solve problems
