Investigo are delighted to be partnering with a well-known company based in High Wycombe to find a Commercial Business Partner.

This is a hugely commercial role where the successful applicant can add real value to the Sales and Marketing teams from the outset. The role is offered on a Fixed Term Basis for a period of 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave. The role will pay £60,000 + Benefits.

This is an integral role in the finance team, and is responsible for:

  • Acting as a point of contact to the Sales and Marketing teams for financial analysis (both standard and ad-hoc) and support.
  • Providing support to the Finance Manager, Sales and Marketing on forecasting, budgeting and analysis.
  • Month end reporting and insights of sales performance for company.
  • Leading financial support to the Marketing team on ad-hoc sales analysis and post campaign reviews
  • Modelling new customer deals and contract re-negotiations, providing support to Finance Manager and Sales team
  • Collaborating with Finance Business Partners in other divisions to help improve business decisions and support intra-function working, especially linking Sales and Operations
  • Own and develop the reporting for both Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that all members receive timely, accurate and appropriate information on the performance of their businesses together with meaningful and actionable commentary
  • Liaising with Sales team to produce financial analysis to model deals / contracts for Retailers. Assisting the Finance Manager on drawing up proposals for Partners.
  • Determine and evaluate market opportunities to support growth plans.
  • Lead and ownership of major strategic commercial projects, including new channels, pricing decisions, partner margin models.

To Apply you will meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA with commercial experience
  • Commercial finance experience supporting a business unit ideally
  • Previously worked with Sales and Marketing teams
  • Experience of forecasting / budgeting.
  • Financial modelling in Excel and good PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong communication skills to deal with a multitude of internal stakeholders.
