Investigo are currently partnered with an exciting tech business in West London who are looking to Recruit a Commercial Finance Manager` for their business as its in a high growth stage. The business currently operates in 12 countries and is continuing to grow while maintaining a start up feel.

The business has secured private-equity and strategic partner investment, which is facilitating accelerated growth in multiple markets. As such, there is a requirement for additional personnel within the finance function to support the business through this period.

The role will involve:

A role where no two days are the same, the right individual will gain a real breadth of financial experience across financial planning, commercial analysis, treasury management and business partnering. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process;
  • Review and analyse business financial and operational performance at a Group, Divisional and Department level across the business;
  • Create, refine and automate reporting tools / models / dashboards that provide insight and analysis to users across the business
  • Build business knowledge and relationships in order to provide insightful contributions across the wider business and to challenge the commercial business performance;
  • Working with Business Managers to ensure business cases are built on robust assumptions, all costs are scrutinised and any returns delivery a profitable outcome;
  • Actively engage and act as trusted Business Partner to heads of department across the business; and
  • Supervise and help to develop more junior finance team members.
  • As well as the day-to-day responsibilities there will be the opportunity to get involved in projects as well.


Candidate requirements:

To be in with a chance of securing this position, you must demonstrate the following:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualification
  • Strong communication skills and a business standard of English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
  • Commercial intuition with a proven ability to think laterally to solve problems
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and deliver results by either working alone or in a team
  • Be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and good time management skills, capable of managing multiple deadlines
  • Exposure to private equity-backed, highly leveraged or fast-paced businesses (advantage)
