Commercial Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Commercial Finance Manager to be a pivotal member of the large Finance team.

My client is a FTSE100 FMCG business who are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager, who will be responsible for providing business partnering, challenge and insight to drive commercial decision making. They are a growing retail consumer business responsible for over 100 brands globally.

This role is responsible for:

• Perform key tasks within the commercial Finance team to ensure that reporting is both timely & accurate.
• Responsible for management and reporting of full system P&L including forecasting and explaining variances to plan
• Month end reporting and finance performance presentations
• Annual budget planning
• Lead the transformation of indirect reporting, providing clarity between direct and indirect performance
• Working with IT business partner to develop new improved processes to upgrade monthly reporting, accrual management and budgeting process
• Provide scrutiny of commercial business tenders, giving guidance and direction to account managers to ensure sound financial decision making

The skills and experience:

• ACA/CIMA Qualified
• Be able to work to tight deadlines and multitask in a demanding yet rewarding environment
• Advanced Excel skills
• Multi-tasking
• Proven track record of building relationships outside of the finance function with well-developed communication skills
• Previous experience within FMCG or Retail.
• Confident at challenging decisions at a senior management level
