Investigo are delighted to be supporting a Milton Keynes based FTSE listed organisation with their recruitment of a Commercial Finance Manager, on a permanent basis.


The Commercial Finance Manager will be the main point of contact for all FP&A (revenue and costs), playing a critical role in driving the business's revenue growth initiatives. You will also deliver key commercial projects for various stakeholders, using your commercial acumen, analytical and presentation skills to help provide recommendations, good decision-making and drive change. The role requires you to work closely with many other teams across the organisation in order to build models and communicate findings to key senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The main contact for forecasting across all business units, collating information from multiple teams to create a consolidated view of the forecasts for the CFO, CEO & other key senior stakeholders.
  • Build a deep understanding of the business model, including monitoring revenue and cost trends, analysing root cause, identifying risks, and delivering recommendations
  • Lead the quarterly financial planning process, alongside the Head of Commercial Finance and Business Partners, and own the delivery of the final outputs to the CFO and CEO
  • Be able to clearly articulate the levers behind the forecasts, including variances to Plan.
  • Model scenario planning for areas such as potential new revenue streams and macro-economic risks to the Plan
  • Be comfortable presenting forecasts, project work and analytical findings to CFO, CEO and other senior stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining reports that can help business units with planning and decision-making, and help them to monitor their performances
  • Support stakeholders on special projects and promote data-driven decision-making
  • Generate innovative ideas and targeted recommendations to maximise revenues and optimise costs, based on data led insights
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Product and the wider Finance team
  • Work closely with the Business Partners to support them with their responsibilities in their cost and revenue business units


The successful Candidate is likely to be a Professionally Qualified individual with 2-5 years PQE, and exceptional FP&A experience. They will be a first class communicator who can comfortably present to the Exec team. Candidates will possess excellent Excel modelling skills, and the ability to work with large amounts of data. This role is a standalone role with no direct reports, so it's especially important that Candidates have the ability to self motivate, prioritise workload, and work autonomously.


Our Client is offering a salary of £60,000 + Benefits, and they offer a Hybrid Working.
