Commercial Finance Manager

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a Milton Keynes based Retail Organisation who are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager, on a permanent basis.

The Finance Manager is responsible for providing financial guidance and support to key commercial stakeholders and colleagues, so that they can make sound business decisions. You will provide a link between the Commercial teams and Central Finance ensuring all risks and opportunities are recognised and actioned upon.
As a financial manager, you'll need a good head for figures and for dealing with complex modelling and analysis, as well as a sound grasp of financial systems and procedures.
The role of the Commercial Finance Manager can vary dependent on the seasonality of the business, the financial cycle and the trading area in which he/she supports.
In general, tasks across roles may include:

• Providing and interpreting financial information
• Analysing change and advising accordingly
• Support in formulating strategic and long-term business plans
• Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance
• Analysing competitors and market trends
• Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
• Conducting reviews and evaluations for sales increasing opportunities
• Managing financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
• Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
• Managing budgets

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual with 3-5 years PQE, and a strong commercial mentality. They will possess excellent communication skills, a hands-on approach to work, an inquisitive mindset, and a natural tenacity to get past the noise, and understand the business.

Our Client is offering a salary of £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits.
