About The Role

Senior Finance Analyst - FTSE 250 FMCG Business - 9 month FTC

It is a fast-paced role, working closely with colleagues from around the world, and the deadlines may be tight. You'll need to build credibility quickly and be prepared to use the data to challenge assumptions provided by your stakeholders.

As a 9-month contract (covering maternity) it will be a varied role, placing you on the inside of a busy commercial finance team. You'll be reaching out for and diving into global performance data, helping shape business development decisions of a high-growth, FTSE 250 multinational company.

About You

You'll need to be qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or equivalent), experienced with analysing commercial data to extract insights and generation of recommendations. Expertise with Excel modelling are going to be essential - pivots, and graphical visualisation skills for use in PowerPoint are a real plus - as is the ability to work accurately and at pace.

With a broad stakeholder community, you'll need strong communication skills, with a proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders across project teams.

Due to the variety of requests fielded, you'll be need sharp problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working independently and with flexibility; prioritising your work and adapting plans to meet deadlines.

Ideally, you'll have similar experience from an FMCG or manufacturing environment with working with Salesforce.com and/or SAP to extract and maintain data, an advantage.
