Compliance Officer - FinTech

A fin-tech business are looking to hire a Compliance Officer; this is a brand new role within the firm. The role will require the build of compliance and audit frameworks from scratch and gives exposure to the most senior stakeholders in the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Build compliance and audit frameworks for the business
• Provide strategic guidance on the implementation of internal controls, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitoring legislative or regulatory changes (e.g. GDPR) and their impact upon the group as well as its audit strategy
• Work with senior management in determining action plans and prioritise issues and matters requiring attention

Successful candidates will have:

• 5+ years of experience in a compliance or audit role
• Experience with Internet technology and data flows (preferable)
• A self starter who is confident engaging with senior management
