Credit Control Manager

Investigo are recruiting a Credit Control Manager for a client based in Crewe.

In the position of Credit Control Manager Crewe you will be responsible for the entire credit function reporting into the Financial Controller ensuring cash flow is maximised. Key duties to include:

• Leading the credit control function, ensuring consistent, efficient and appropriate credit and management controls across our customers
• Ensuring credit management best practice and an understanding of how that aligns to invoice financing
• Aligning credit control processes to policy, ensuring compliance with internal controls
• Continually improving credit control processes and providing ongoing training and development of the credit control team
• Leadership and development of a credit control team circa 5 reports
• Monitoring performance benchmarked to appropriate KPIs aligned to the business cashflow
• Responsible for the management of and compliance with the credit insurance policies
• Management of the credit limit setting and maintenance in line with the internal approval processes
• Maintaining reporting on customers in an organised manner so that the status of customers can be easily communicated in a regular and timely manner
• Working with the Senior Management Team to update on the performance of the sales ledger, and attendance at meetings with the Senior Management Team and wider business areas to discuss issues as needed
• Other ad-hoc requests from the Group Financial Controller or other members of the finance team as needed

The Profile

The successful candidate will ideally be ICM qualified

Previous management experience and ability to coach/ mentor and develop the team

Ability to maximise cashflow in line with company guideline

Excellent communication skills

Salary

£55,000 to £65,000 plus full benefits package
