Data Analyst (1-2 years exp needed) - Insurance

My client is a leading insurance company based in Cardiff, looking for a Data Analyst to join their data & analytics team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for a data analyst with 1-3 years analysis experience looking to upskill and improve both their technical and business facing skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that their machine learning models are running at optimum performance and improving these models over time. Also, you will work closely with business stakeholders on conducting and building test plans to make improvements.

Skills/experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a analyst role.
• Degree educated (ideally within a STEM subject area).
• Experience working in a regulated environment (preferably financial services).
• Experience using Alteryx, Tableau or PowerBI highly beneficial.
• Knowledge around SQL, SAS or SPSS desirable.
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills.

Salary - up to £40,000 plus bonus + benefits package

Location - Cardiff/Remote
