Role Purpose:

The Data Project Manager/Delivery Lead is to be responsible for the Roadmap and Delivery of the new Azure based Data Hub. The Data Hub is a key component of the IT Strategy and will help to drive cultural change to put Data and Analytics at the heart of the company.

Data Hub will be used by a variety of users and systems to meet their Data Management, Analysis, MI and Operational Data needs.

You wiill lead demand and delivery of the solutions needed to realise this vision. In addition, they will ensure that the Operations function is well set up to manage these solutions in a BAU capacity.

General Duties:

• Ensure there is a well-defined Delivery methodology for Azure Data Hub solutions. This will leverage modern development practices around CI\CD, Agile delivery, DevOps and continuous improvement as appropriate
• Take a lead role in Data and MI strategy and ensure that the Data Hub platform and solutions
• Manage the delivery of solutions via internal or external resources or a mixture of both
• Work alongside Senior Stakeholders in the Business to define roadmaps and manage ongoing demand for change
• Lead the Internal Development team and embed best practices in their ways of working
• Participate in ensuring the appropriate run and small change operating model in place
• Team definition and recruitment of new team members as required
• Report Status and Progress to Steering committees to C Level

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in the delivery of Azure \ SQL Data Hub Solution using Agile and DevOps approaches and tools
• Proven skills in Modern Data Warehousing techniques and Data Platform solutions
• Experience in defining methods, standards, best practices and QA processes for Azure Data Hub delivery
• Experience in Recruitment as well as Resource and People Management
• Experience in Stakeholder Management to C level
• Experience in Supplier Management
• Desire to collaborate with internal teams, Global functions and stakeholders to deliver great outcomes in the most effective way
• Insurance Experience preferable
