Data Protection Officer

Investigo is pleased to be partnering a leading Global business in the Recruitment for a Data Protection Officer to be based in their Home Counties Head Office

Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Lead, this newly created role will have full accountability for the data protection strategy across the business, ensuring that it remains compliant with the requirements and regulations.

The role will create and embed the corporate data protection and data governance strategy, working with external legal providers to inform, advise and issue timely, pragmatic and risk-based advice and recommendations regarding compliance with the GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and other relevant data privacy laws globally.

Partnering with a diverse group of Stakeholders, you will be responsible for advising on all day to day DP queries, producing assessments, managing data captures and owning all corporate privacy policies & practices

My client is looking for a proven Data Protection expert and this role will suit either an existing DPO or an Analyst/Manager looking for their next career step.

Technically strong, you will have a string working knowledge of GDPR, DA Act 2018 and the Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.

You will be a confident communicator and be able to build/manage high level stakeholder relationships.
