DevSecOps / Application Security Engineer

Investigos client are a financial service company currently looking for a DevSecOps / Application Security Engineer for a permanent position in London UK. Please see below for more information:

Job title: DevSecOps / Application Security Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Location: London - (Happy to start fully remote)

Minimum Experience / Capabilities:

• More than 8 years of experience in application security and security engineering.
• Hands-on development, architectural and security experience with Amazon Web Services and Azure cloud
• Understand X509 Digital Certificates and PKI
• Detailed knowledge of End-to-End DevSecOps lifecycle with hands-on experience implementing OWASP ASVS level 2 based processes or similar
• Detailed knowledge of modern micro services architecture, service mesh, container orchestration and security
• Understanding of threat modelling and defending against an evolving threat landscape and attack methods
• Knowledge and experience of testing APIs in a cloud environment
• API Security, secure API development, vulnerability assessment and code reviews
• Extensive experience of internal and external application and infrastructure? penetration testing in a cloud environment
• Manage and oversee Application Security Testing in CI/CD working with the Corporate Security team to ensure issues are tracked and closed
• Must have Experience of Financial Services sector
• Able to manage a diverse complex workload and liaise with multiple third-party teams
• Able to work unsupervised and across multiple projects and teams
