Director of Programme & Product Delivery

Own the end to end Delivery responsibility for the annual portfolio of Capex Projects. May have management responsibility for a direct team of Business Analysts, Project Managers, and the engagement of IT delivery professionals.

Drive the delivery of sponsored projects (analysis, design, build, test, deploy, and early life support) in line with the agreed portfolio

Plan and recruit or develop the resource mix and skillset to meet the needs of the delivery portfolio both short term and longer term, enabling the capability to quickly flex up and down to meet demand

Drive the delivery of product teams (e.g. iterations (sprints) of product development, test and release in line with company standards and guiderails) with a focus on product priorities and backlog of capabilities to be developed

Lead the development and rollout of new principles and concepts within the technology organisation to change, improve and refine IT delivery, ensuring alignment with the business strategy

Promote the adoption of new technology - thought leadership, speaking externally and representing the company in the market as an attractive and progressive environment for potential employees

Own and lead the deployment and adoption of agile ways of working such as SAFe and optimisation of Waterfall

Embed the delivery organisation, upskills in approach, standards, methodologies and accountabilities

Work in partnership with other leaders to understand their needs, solve complex issues and align on strategic technology objectives and goals.
