EMEA Financial Controller

A global US listed organisation with headquarters in London is currently looking to recruit an EMEA Financial Controller. The role will focus on the EMEA statutory obligations, Governance and Controls and Financial Control. Working in a matrix style environment this role needs to be pro-active and have excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

• The EMEA statutory compliance obligations and requirements, including statutory filings identification and tracking.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to track filings, including Tax, Treasury, Legal, Finance and Accounting.
• Managing the EMEA-wide reporting in accordance with US GAAP
• Support audit process for EMEA legal entities, working closely with the in country teams and advisors.
• Communicate with all stakeholders for statutory audit processes and compliance requirements.
• Participate in finance projects focused on continuous improvement.
• Ensure strong internal controls are maintained.
• Work closely with Internal Audit team in relation to EMEA processes and related controls.
• Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.

Core Competencies

• Qualified Accountant
• US GAAP experience
• Experience working in a large matrix style multinational environment
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.
• Capability to run small projects including prioritisation of tasks and proactive stakeholder management.
• Ability to working in a fast-paced environment and be flexible.
