Finance Analyst

Large company is looking to appoint an interim Financial Analyst for a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave.

The role is responsible for ensuring the overall financial control of the Joint Venture accounting, and supporting Accounting Reporting & Controls Manager in day to day activities. The analyst will actively monitor and instruct Payments and Journals as required into the financial ledgers to ensure they accurately report as per the agreement with interested parties. They will own the production of the quarterly management accounts for Board meetings and subsequent distribution of approved dividends.
The role will also provide support to a SSC in query resolution and manage overall cash forecasting for UK business to treasury, ensuring all deviations are understood this will include discounting approvals.
They will produce forecasts and variance analysis, as well as balance sheet reconciliations.

The successful Candidate will be a professionally Qualified individual or QBE with exceptional management accounting and analytical experience. They will possess excellent IT skills, including Excel and SAP. Any experience of JV accounting would be advantageous, though not essential.
