Finance Analyst

My client is looking for a newly qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA accountant with an excellent academic background, solid analytical and system skills including advanced Excel usage, as well as impeccable communication skills, at all levels as this role will support senior stakeholders throughout the organisation.

The core focus of this role is providing financial analysis and commercial support, as well as being involved in central projects as required. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in the preparation of key analysis and forecasting information for the wider business.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts, departmental profitability statements and analysis of trends in business performance
• Support the preparation of the monthly cash flow forecast and business review
• Work alongside department heads analysing and reviewing performance
• Preparation of monthly sales performance forecast information
• Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of selected disclosures and analyses for use in financial statements
• Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of the group's operational budget, control and manage key inputs to budget process
