Finance Analyst / Business Partner

This is a really exciting job opportunity to work for a retail organisation looking for a finance analyst with proven finance business partnering experience in the Guildford area.

£50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

CIMA/ACA or ACCA Qualified.

There may be a little bit of travel required for this role.

* Annual and quarterly forecasts prepared in conjunction with Budget holders, providing relevant analysis and value adding commentary
* Lead the budgeting process for both sales and marketing, ensuring effective communication with the Sales Director so that sales spend is budgeted for accurately
* Works with Commercial Finance and to deliver and continuously improve the planning, budgeting & forecasting processes.
* Ensures that budget targets and guidelines are escalated to the Marketing & Head Office functions. Keep in touch with wider picture on all key finance initiatives and quantify impacts
* Lead the planning process from a sales & marketing perspective, providing financial analysis, summary analysis and in depth commentary on future plans
* Ensures that costs are analysed in trend with profit and planning strategy
* Ensures that the budget owners understand full commentary on the financial planning process
