Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner - £50k - £60k + up to 10% bonus- Peterborough Based

Investigo are currently recruiting for a high performing Finance Business Partner to join Global prestigious business that is the envy of their competitors with head office based in Peterborough.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner is very much a business facing finance role and will involve being in regular contact with Senior Management, Functional Heads and Directors. The overall purpose of this role is to add value within the business - bringing high quality insights on the investment centres including financial reporting, planning and analysis and developing recommendations to evaluate business performance and support business decision making and strategy.

Looking after the Operations and Commercial side of the business. You will support your non finance budget holders by advising and training them on any areas related to the budget process and 5-year plan. Other areas of responsibility will include; consolidation of management accounts, including KPI reporting and budget holder reports; oversee the quarterly forecast process; produce the annual budget, including reviewing the business plans and future growth areas; and to work on many exciting projects and have the chance to make a name for yourself to the senior leadership team. The Finance Business Partner will also support the Finance Director in developing financial models, in particular to support: Price and margin analysis and recommendations, delivered cost supply analysis, business case evaluation for projects eg: major capex, new products, restructuring, acquisitions.

This is a development role, providing a platform to progress and stretch within in the business via a number of potential paths within Finance, leading you to a Senior Finance Business Partner, or Finance Manager. In the longer-term this role could eventually lead to Finance Director role within the Product or Country teams.

Qualification and Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
• At least 2/3 years of post- qualification experience
• Extensive experience in commercial finance business partnering roles
• Proven track record of providing analysis and insight to support decision making
• Experience in Manufacturing or Food Production is ESSENTIAL
• Experience working in a business with international exposure, Big Corporate or PLCs
