Job description

Investigo are recruiting to a 4-month FTC, Commercial Finance Business Partner role for a progressive property company based in central London, who are going through a big growth period. They are looking for a qualified professional interim and the pro rata salary goes up to £55,000.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of a high quality finance partnering function, covering all financial aspects of the company's property portfolio, including delivery of accurate monthly management reporting
  • Lead the development of lease event tracking and reporting, driving improvements in forecasting and budget setting
  • Update the Management Accounting SSC team, selected third party advisors and the zone finance teams of property activity that will have an impact on their performance and ensure all provisions and accruals held by the Financial Accounting team are updated to reflect the activity.
  • Support the Asset Management cost transformation initiative through the identification of value driving opportunities and oversight of agreed initiatives.
  • Review cost centre performance against budget for Asset Management income and cost elements
  • Perform variance and reporting analysis and report issues to the relevant Budget Holder

Role requirements

  • Qualified accountant with 2 years PQE gained in a similar financial role in industry
  • Property or Facilities Management industry experience desirable but not essential
  • Highly commercial and analytical mindset required in a fast paced, and growth sector
  • Strong Data analytical skills (utilising financial, Microsoft and data management systems)
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail; organisational skills;
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working and will have a positive approach to challenges, thinking creatively to solve problems
  • Excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining the ability to see the big picture
  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate issues and solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with senior members of the Group and remote Finance teams
