Finance Director

Reporting to the Managing Director with a dotted line to the Group CFO, the Finance Director will be based in the offices near Thetford. The business is performing well and the turnover is expected to increase from £20m to £30m over the next 12 months with its current pipeline. This is an exciting time to join the business and play a critical role as part of the senior management team. Responsibilities will include:

• Lead the development and execution of the strategic plan in conjunction with the MD and senior management team
• Drive the achievement of the financial targets of the company, including regular reviews and analysis of actuals to targets
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budget and quarterly review process.
• Responsible for the continual development of the financial processes and systems to support the organisation and its statutory and reporting commitments
• Responsible for audit, risk and financial control.
• Play a role in the due diligence and integration of potential future acquisitions.
• Ensure appropriate KPIs are in place to drive the efficiency of the business in terms of on time, in budget and quality deliverables to our customers
• Develop the appropriate reporting capability to support the operational and commercial management of the business at a macro and micro level to ensure sustainable profitable growth, including the development of reporting to assist with group reporting
• Drive best in class performance with regard to financial operations and IT
• Participate in overall commercial management of the organisation including at estimating and contract level
• Represent the organisation externally, as necessary, particularly in contract negotiations and relationship building.

In order to be considered it is important that you have extensive experience of one of the following:

• Manufacturing
• Construction
• Project / contract based
