A fast track Private Equity backed SME with a unique and forward thinking mind set are seeking to recruit a newly created Finance Manager position as their brand presence continues to grow.

The company have a strong reputation backed up by a well-established team and a dedicated 5 year strategy moving into its next phase. The company have shown impressive growth throughout 2018 and are set to add a second acquisition to the group later this year. This acquisition and a passion to make the business number one in their space has highlighted the need to secure further qualified finance resource for the division.

The role of Finance Manager is an exciting and all-encompassing role that will suit those looking to make their mark on a business and leave a long lasting legacy. Mixing elements of reporting, controls and ad-hoc projects the ideal candidate will come with an agile approach, strong process / systems improvements, solid core accounting skills (MA/ FA) and an ability to work cross functionally with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

    • Responsibility for the delivery of financial / business reporting for a number of key divisions and work with the Financial Controller to evolve the control environment as the number and complexity of acquisitions increases;
    • Produce the divisional management accounts and report against budget
    • Provide key commentary on business/ divisional highlights and trends;
    • Optimise key accounting packages and excel to improve reporting
    • Manage a small team of self-sufficient non-qualified finance assistants.
    • Multi-currency cash management, forecasting and reporting encompassing client, FX, safeguarding and business accounts across the group;
    • Work with IT on a variety of projects to develop, streamline and update processes in readiness for the company to cater for greater business volumes derived through organic growth and acquisitions;
    • Participate in, an MI reporting tool being introduced into the business imminently.
