Finance Manager

This exciting role as a Finance Manager sits within the business partnering team of a global music and media company, This role will be responsible for managing the analysis, month end and forecasting of key P&L overheads drivers to support effective decision making. Reporting directly to the head of department you will play a pivotal role in the companies decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
• Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
• Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
• Research and analyse financial reports and market trends
• Management reporting/management information/board reporting- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives
• Prepare monthly and annual reports
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company

What you will have:

• Financial reporting experience/financial analysis are desirable.
• Experience in consulting, analysis, transaction services and a commercial analytic environment.
• Candidate will have experience in a professional services firm with exposure to sales.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or someone from a consulting background is desirable.
• Previous software industry experience advantageous but not required.
• Strong academic background.
