Job description

Investigo have partnered with a worldwide media company and are looking for a Finance Manager to join their Business Partnering team. This role will only suit an ACA from a top 10 accountancy firm who has honed their technical skills and had a role in industry for 1-2 years. Their offices are based in the heart of London and have been recently developed to include a state-of-the-art gym and roof terrace. Responsibilities of the role:

  • Present results to the leadership team to enable to them to clearly understand key drivers and any business decisions required.
  • Drive improved transparency and accountability over P&L dynamics, with a robust framework for ongoing analysis.
  • Lead quarterly forecast and annual planning cycles, coordinating across all functions to establish appropriate targets and challenge assumptions.
  • Business partnering with project leaders to ensure budgets are maintained, and latest business plans are incorporated in order to meet the financial objectives of the organisation.
  • Lead the approval process for headcount and incremental budget investment.
  • Identify and implement process and reporting enhancements to drive additional insight, including automation of the reporting of overhead costs.
  • Responsibility for the ongoing coaching and development of Finance Analysts in the team.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for team output and deadline by handling workload effectively across the team
  • Support the month-end close processes to control monthly accruals and inputs.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly reporting, variance and trend analyses that provide actionable insights.
  • Adhoc modelling, analysis, and reporting as required.

Your details:

  • A fully qualified ACA with an exceptional pass rate.
  • Bachelor's degree qualified, 2:1 or 1:1 result.
  • Intelligent and analytic.
  • Adept in conversing and discussing with key members of the business.
  • Big four experience is desired.
