Finance Manager - External Reporting

Finance Manager(external reporting) - Well-known Restaurant Group - 3 month day rate

Key Responsibilities:

• deliver a high standard of internal and external reporting;
• effectively support regulatory reporting and returns;
• develop and promote a well-controlled finance environment;
• monthly management accounting
• support the operational side of the business on projects that drive significant value to the company.
• preparation of periodic balance sheet and cash flow accounts, ensuring they are reconciled and providing reporting, budgets and forecasts to the management team;
• preparation of the group consolidation in accordance with the reporting timetable;
• development of the group's reporting to make better use of reporting tools and to provide greater insight to key users;
• review of finance processes and controls, providing recommendations on process improvement and formalisation;
• lead the annual audit process and preparation of statutory financial statements;
• liaison with group finance team throughout reporting cycle and in respect of group wide projects
• support of other head office functions with accounting and tax queries and other ad-hoc projects

Key Requirements:

• qualified accountant
• knowledge of IFRS
• background in financial accounting/reporting, audit or similar;
• experience in controls evaluation and/or testing;
• knowledge of corporate and indirect taxes beneficial but not essential;
• good level of excel knowledge;
