Our client is a fast track, entrepreneurial multi-site business with an ever-expanding International footprint and exceptional working culture.

Following positive organic growth throughout the last 5 years including an exceptional 12 months in 2020 they are set to kick start the next phase of their growth by hiring a Finance Manager to support their customer base in Germany and parts of the UK

Working closely with the Finance Director and the Senior Leadership team this is a newly created role will offer huge levels of diversity and give them a real chance to put their stamp on the industry.

You will take ownership and responsibility for a small team and will play a vital role in delivering month end, driving efficiency's in core accounting and identifying ways of standardising and improving internal processes. You will work closely with the team to ensure the accurate and efficient running of the department, meeting deadlines, providing relevant information, and delivering innovative solutions. You will also get involved heavily in commercial finance activities, storytelling analysis and project work and is a superb chance for someone on the upward curve to make a real difference.

The role requires a highly motivated candidate to understand all areas of the business and contribute towards maximising business revenue and profitability. It goes without saying that someone with a fluency in German, alongside English is crucial in making this position a success. The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of management reporting, financial / management accounting, delivering key strategic management information to various stakeholders across the business. Additionally, the role will support the CFO in various duties.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with a strong technical grounding and a sound commercial mind-set, able to contribute to the development of the wider business strategy. The business may also consider those making a first move out of practice. You will have a focus on accuracy, attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
