Finance Manager - Private Equity backed - 1st/2nd time mover

Investigo are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a PE backed, software start -up in their search for a Finance Manager. You'll be working in a dynamic, creative industry and also part of a company taking their industry by storm. Not only is this an amazing journey to be part of, the role is very much of a hybrid nature with lots of commercial responsibilities (not the typical stat accounts etc). This role would very much suit a 1st time mover from Audit looking to gain that commercial experience.

The role:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including close process
• Reporting in line with group reporting schedules
• Assisting in the preparation of management reporting packs at month end
• Supporting on statutory reporting
• Key point of contact for the audit
• Managing AP, AR and fixed asset registers
• Month end reconciliations
• Support for internal payroll
• Continual improvement of core processes and controls
• Working with Sales and Commercial teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition
• Supporting Head of Finance on commercial activities including budgeting, forecasting
• Involvement in supporting back-office teams for portals + new revenue stream projects
• Upcoming migration from Xero to Oracle

Requirements:

• Qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA (minimum 2 years PQE)
• Preferably high growth experience, with multiple revenue streams
• Experience preparing management accounts
• Detailed understanding and knowledge of UK GAAP & IFRS
• Oracle experience
• Excellent communicator, with the ability to succinctly summarise complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner for stakeholders of any level / function
