Job description
Our client, a leader in their field, are looking for an Interim Finance Manager to join them for an 8-month project to deliver a key project for them. The role is to work across a number of regional teams identifying current key processes and then identifying and implementing process improvements to provide a "best in class" financial controls environment.
The role will focus on the balance sheet reconciliation process throughout the regional teams;
- Identify the current processes within the regional teams
- Define best practice for the monthly regional balance sheet reconciliation templates and processes.
- Feedback to the regional teams, implement best practice and ensure standardisation of process where possible
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and supported at year end.
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of submissions of information to the external auditors enabling a smooth and timely year end process
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience of process improvements and/or internal audit projects. The ability to build relationships and implement change within organisations will also be essential within the role.
