Job description

Our client, leaders in their field, are currently looking for a contractor to join them for a 6-month role. The role will support the Group finance team during a system implementation project.

The role will include:

  • Providing analytical data from group accounts for the systems integration team
  • Implement required GL process change
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing and prepare the adjusted financial process documentation
  • Prepare account reconciliations and journal support during the project as needed
  • Additional project related tasks may also include updating excel templates/journal templates to ensure smooth transition on month end activities prior to go live
  • Work with the Group Tax, Treasury and Legal departments to implement accounting policies that arise out of the implementation
  • Provide financial accounting support to the Corporate finance team

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience within a group finance team in a multicurrency environment. Previous experience of an ERP system implementation project will also be essential for the position.
