Finance Reporting Analsyt

Our midlands based client is looking to appoint an interim Finance Reporting Analyst to join their team for a 3-6 month period. This role will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of all financial information across the UK, Ireland as well as international.

Key duties:

• Preparation of the periodic Management information packs and full year / half year statutory accounts packs
• Regular balance sheet reconciliation reviews
• Preparation of all monthly/quarterly and annual reporting packs for submission to Group and FP&A
• Posting of journals
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts information packs from trial balance with provision of analytical explanations
• Develop good understanding of key cost drivers - and report to the wider business
• Provide Finance Business partnering support to key stakeholders - assisting them to understand budgets, forecasts and any variances, provide reporting on all income and costs
• Produce insightful P&L, Balance sheet and analysis to key stakeholders
• Manage and report on position of cash, long and short term forecasting including delivery of currency forecasts

The successful candidate will ideally be a fully qualified finance professional. You will have a solid understanding and proven experience in the duties required above. You will be very proactive with a strong grounding in reporting and management accounts, be comfortable analysing key metrics to advise the business on any risks and opportunities.

It would be highly beneficial to be able to demonstrate an intermediate / advanced level of excel and a working knowledge of SAP would be also be advantageous.
