Financial Accountant

Investigo are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a Northampton based FTSE Listed business who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant, on a permanent basis.

This newly created role has come as a result of continued positive growth, and the Financial Accountant will lead the control and compliance team; working closely with the Financial Controller, to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the financial performance management, the monitoring of the control environment of the business and for ensuring compliance with Group Accounting Policies and compliance with the Group Controls Framework.

The Financial Accountant will act a key Business Unit contact during the group audit process.
This role will also be commercially focused, supporting contract managers, operations and business development teams win new business, improve revenue from existing clients and improve contract profitability. They will be responsible for the delivery and accuracy of the monthly management accounts, be an integral part of the annual planning and forecasting processes as well as adhoc financial analysis to support business decisions, business cases and bid development.

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual with 2-7 years PQE, and a strong technical accounting background. They will have exceptional controls, VAT and Balance Sheet experience, as well as a bright, outgoing personality and the ability to liaise at all levels within a large, fast paced business.

Our Client is offering a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits.
