Financial Accountant

This is a really exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a growing company.

Our client are in the Health industry and looking for a profile that will be versatile in their approach.

Within the role you will be accountable for:

• Manages the production and analysis of key financial and activity based information.
• Supports the Financial controller with ledger reviews and high level transaction processing within the month end process.
• Supports the implementation of Company policies, procedures, processes and initiatives.
• Assists in the maintenance of financial procedures file and ensures that all financial processes are adhered to within the department.
• Supports Regional Directors and Managers with implementing processes and ensuring adherence to financial procedures.
• Ensures accounting services comply with statutory regulations and current legislation.
• Preparation of year-end audit files documentation and liaison with external auditors.
• Production of annual statutory company accounts for several companies and associated iXBRL tagging submission to HMRC.
• Responsible for submitting annual returns and completing duties on behalf of the Financial Controller
• Owning and maintaining the group's balance sheet register with clear explanation of all items within the ledger
• Be up to date with current accounting standard particularly UK GAAP
• Working knowledge of tax legislation

You will be at the final stages of your ACCA/CIMA or post qualified.
