Financial Analyst

Investigo has partnered with a global TV media company who are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst. This is an exciting and competitive role that is only open to candidates with previous media experience, whether that be through audit clients or in your last role. The role would suit a straight from practice ACA or 1-year PQ CIMA/ACCA.

Your responsibilities:

• Forecasting, reporting and actualising.
• Maintaining and updating the sales model, continuing improvements.
• Maintain tracking of risks and opportunities for distribution to key stakeholders.
• Working with the shared-service centre to ensure the month-end position is correct.
• Loading forecasts and P&L onto the system.
• Providing commentary on the P&L.
• Assisting the commercial team with revenue recognition.
• Ad-hoc analysis and evaluation.
• Provide a month-end pack of revenue booked, analysis against prior-year and budget/forecast.
• Assist with annual audit and SOX.

Experience:

• Newly Qualified Accountant
• Experience of working in a fast paced finance department preferably with in revenue based role, or from practice.
• Experience of working in a media environment is essential.
• Advanced excel skills.
